Based in Dubai, Jérôme Droesch is the Chief Executive Officer of Cigna in the Middle East & Africa (MEA) and South East Asia (SEA) region, Board Member for Cigna’s operations in India and Turkey, and Senior Executive Officer & Chairman of Cigna Insurance Management Services Board in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). Emir is a Director and Lead Analyst based in S&P’s Dubai office from where he covers insurance companies across the GCC region. He has more than 20 years of insurance industry-specific experience, gained in various roles when working in Germany, the UK and UAE. Emir joined S&P in 2014 from a Big4 firm where he was working on Risk Management, Treasury and Finance related assignments. Prior to that, Emir was a Policy Advisor at the Association of British Insurers (ABI) in London, working on Solvency II related matters and was leading the policy work on Pillar 3 reporting and EU-wide stress testing. Emir has also gained valuable industry experience in Germany, where he was working as a Life Insurance Underwriter and Risk Manager. Emir holds an MSc in Insurance and Risk Management and EMBA from Cass Business School in London. He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute.

Marcos Malzone is the Global VP of Product Marketing for Solera. A senior executive with track record in portfolio management for enterprise software companies within Insurance and Telecom industries, Marcos has routes in the automotive repair industry since his teenage years, working in his family’s bodyshop business in Brazil. In the last 2 years Marcos has championed Solera’s Visual Intelligence go-to-market program and is actively working with the industry to drive awareness and adoption across the world

Ahmed Eissa is CEO of MOTORI and Executive Director of Safe City Group. He holds a BSc in Computer Science from Cairo University and has received his executive education from a number of international institutions including the American University and Harvard Business School. Following extensive experience in software systems engineering and product development, Ahmed is overseeing a significant number of large scale smart city and public safety solutions in the UAE and across the region. He successfully directed nationwide smart city projects including big projects with UAE insurance companies and emergency command & control centre implementations with many regional governmental entities.

Sajith Kumar has over 25 years' experience in risk and the insurance sector. He is a brilliant academic with Masters in Commerce, Master of Business Administration and has also specialised in the arena of insurance. Sajith is an associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, Fellow of Insurance Institute of India and specialised in associateship in fire, marine and general fields, which is quite unique.

Sajith joined Howden in October 2018, after a successful stint at Marsh spanning 15 years. He has climbed the ladder within Marsh and proved his worth, holding several positions within the organisation including; CEO of Marsh Oman and Dy CEO in Marsh Emirates. During his tenure in Oman, he has seen, and played a key role, in growing the company multi-fold and successfully changing the operation from being known as a local company to a well-known and recognised brand nationally. He also managed the operations in UAE during a very challenging period, facing the headwinds with strong defence and an offence strategy, as appropriate. Dynamic in his role, Sajith is known for his all-round experience (broking, underwriting, claims management). He is also well known for his strong business, leadership and a deep understanding of the customer and business landscape in the Middle East.

Yousuf Amin is the Executive Vice President - Consumer Lines Claims, Engineering Services & Operations at Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company (ADNIC). He joined the company in January 2018, and is responsible for managing ADNIC Operations, Consumer Line Claims, Engineering Services, Call Centre and IT teams.

Yousuf has 24+ years of extensive experience in the GCC across diversified areas of insurance including operations, claims, banc-assurance, IT, strategy, customer experience, finance and quality. Prior to joining ADNIC, Mr. Amin was the Chief Operations Officer at Noor Takaful, and before that he was the Head of Operations and Quality at Noor Takaful in the UAE . Before that, he was spearheading setup of various entities with Noor Bank and Banque Saudi Fransi (part of Calyon Group). He has held various leadership positions to deliver key digital transformation programs including implementation of core Insurance and Banking solutions.

Yousuf holds a Master degree in Economics. He is an Associate member of Chartered Insurance Institute UK with the designation of Chartered Insurer. He has completed his Executive Certificate Program in Technology & Operations from MIT Sloan School of Management & CSAIL. He is a regular speaker and panel expert in various International Takaful and Insurance conferences. He recently represented ADNIC as part of the UAE Ministry of Economy Official Mission to USA for Innovation and Corporate Venture Capitals. Zahir is the Chief Executive Officer of Now Health International. He was previously Managing Director of Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa prior to his promotion in 2018.
